Andrew McLellan MIACP

Andrew McLellan MIACP, is a fully accredited psychotherapist and clinical supervisor (Relational Gestalt approach) with a private practice in Wicklow Street, Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2. Andrew has more than a decade of experience working with adult clients (18+) experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological issues and life challenges. Andrew welcomes private clients who have identified a need for professional help and support with recent or recurring issues.

Andrew is acknowledged by his peers as an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced advocate of the Neurodiversity Perspective in psychotherapy, having found it personally and professionally transformative, and highly relevant to many of those seeking therapy. The majority of his work is now focused on supporting late-diagnosed (or late-discovered) Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent adults towards better mental health, through gaining a better understanding of their individual strengths, needs and challenges.

As an experienced Clinical Supervisor, he also particularly enjoys drawing on his extensive knowledge and clinical experience of working from the Neurodiversity Perspective to support other Autistic and neurodivergent therapists. Andrew has undertaken extensive formal training in this area , and in 2024 was invited to deliver training in Neuroaffirming Therapy for more than 100 therapists at the Mind and Body Works practice.
